The M5 is currently closed on the northbound carriageway.
However there is an ongoing incident on the M5 north of Somerset after a horsebox overturned between Dursley and Stroud. There were also delays on the northbound side of the carriageway as motorists slowed down to look at the incident, with congestion going back as far as Junction 29.
Traffic data site, Inrix, reported that that two lanes were closed earlier this evening (Saturday) on the southbound side of the carriageway between junctions 30 and 31 near Exeter. Traffic has cleared on the M5 south of Somerset this evening after a crash closed two lanes.
